Tower Museum – One of several museums in Derry / Londonderry, the Tower Museum contains two permanent exhibitions and hosts a number of touring exhibitions throughout the year. The "Story of Derry" exhibition outlines the city's history from its earliest fomation to the present day. The "An Armada Shipwreck, La Trinidad Valencera" exhibition tells the story of the Spanish’s Armada ship, La Trinidad Valencera's journey around the Irish coast. It was shipwrecked off the coast of Donegal in 1588 and discovered in 1971.

Loughs Agency Centre (Riverwatch) - Riverwatch is a great tourist attraction located just outside Derry City centre and with FREE admission it's a must do for families and visitors. Visitors can see and learn all about our local wildlife and there are free activity packs to keep the kids entertained. The centre has lobster, crabs, starfish, coalfish, blenny's and lots of other marine and freshwater fish and shellfish.

Leslie Hill Farm – estate with beautiful parkland and lake for picnics, open farm and displays of old machinery

W5 – an award winning science and discovery centre located 70 mins’ drive from Drumcovitt in Belfast. With nearly 200 amazing interactive exhibits in four incredible exhibition areas, W5 provides a unique experience as well as fantastic fun for visitors of all ages. In addition to permanent exhibits, W5 also presents a changing programme of large and small scale temporary exhibitions and events. W5 has a daily programme of live science demonstrations and shows throughout the day.
