Welcome to Drumcovitt House
Chris and Sarah welcome you to Drumcovitt House, a Grade II listed building originally built in the 1600s. Our self catering accommodation, located in Drumcovitt Barn which is over 200 years old and has been skilfully converted into three self-catering cottages, is equipped to a very high standard and able to accommodate up to 13 people in total.
Nestling between the foothills of the Sperrins and Causeway Coast, Drumcovitt is an excellent base to discover the North West of Ireland. We are less than an hours’ drive from some of the country’s top golf courses; or if culture and retail therapy is your thing we are only 20 minutes from Derry~Londonderry, the 2013 UK City of Culture. Explore the Sperrins and Donegal or visit Finn McCool's Giants Causeway, then return when you will.
Ideal for those looking for flexibility and independence, our cottages provide a peaceful retreat where visitors can unwind and take in the stunning views. Guests are free to wander in the two acres of mature garden, make use of the timber play trail and sand pit for children or enjoy the walks on our 240 acre working farm.
Drumcovitt has been recommended by Alastair Sawday's Special places to stay in Ireland, who comments ‘no wonder poets and writers love Drumcovitt, its atmosphere is like no other: hands-on hard work combines with landed grandeur’.
